I realized how hot it actually gets inside my kitchen when I was working there the other day.
Until recently, I had never realized that the air conditioner didn’t reach the kitchen.
It’s amazing the things I was realizing about my house, now that I was in it so much. Thanks to the pandemic, I was listening to the different noises that come from the Heating and Air Conditioning system. I was finding out where the air conditioner did and did not make a difference. During the winter, I was also finding the areas that were warmer than others. I knew the only thing I could do was to install zone control, however even that didn’t work. It helped with the heating, but not the air conditioner. I asked the Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman if it was possible to add another small air conditioner component just for the bedroom. He said it would be possible, however it would really be best if I just got a window air conditioner unit. He said it would be cheaper and it would also be more efficient. I thought about what he said and I considered purchasing a window air conditioner unit, but I had a hard time finding one that would fit correctly. I called the Heating and Air Conditioning tech and told him that my dilemma was finding the right fit. He assured me they had portable air conditioner units and window air conditioner units that would fit in my bedroom. He even came to the home to show me the different types of window and portable air conditioner units they had in stock.
