He always shops around town for the best price before we buy anything.
When the two of us needed a new car, my husband shopped around town for two months. He found a great deal on an excellent running car, but we only had one vehicle for a long time. I would have been happy to buy something sooner, but my guy wanted the best deal. When we needed a new furnace, my husband was very unhappy with the price the heating company gave us. My husband was certain that he could find a new furnace online for much less money. Since it wasn’t particularly cold outside yet, I agreed to let my husband look around for a better price for the new furnace. A week after he started looking, he found a wholesale website with furnace and AC parts. They had several different furnaces from last year’s inventory and they were all on sale. My husband ordered a really nice furnace with a high energy efficiency rating. The equipment arrived a few days later by UPS. When I found out that my hubby planned to install the machine on his own, I put my foot down and disagreed. I was happy to let him find a better price, but I wanted a professional to install the equipment properly the first time with no hassle and no waiting. I didn’t want to wait another week while my hubby called every place in town to find the best price, and I didn’t want my husband to attempt the installation on his own.
