My coworkers and I got brand new trucks delivered to the shop on Monday morning.
We knew that we were getting new trucks for a couple of weeks.
They were supposed to be delivered last week, but there was a delay at the factory. I have not had air conditioning in my labor truck for the past 6 weeks and I labor for an a/c maintenance business. The first day that I had my new truck, the boss sent me downtown for an a/c repair. I had to park in the parking garage. I truthfully thought that my new work truck was going to be safe due to the fact that there are cameras all over the building and the garage, but unfortunately, all of the hubcaps were stolen off the new truck and the security cameras did not get anyone. After I found the missing hubcaps, I immediately went back into the supplier to see if I could look at the security cameras. They told me that I would have to file a police report and urged me to call 911. I contacted my boss to tell him about the missing hubcaps. My boss told me to stay there and he was going to come down to talk to the sheriff. The sheriff asked for the information from the security cameras and that was when we found out that they did not catch anyone, however half of the cameras weren’t working and the other half weren’t pointed in the right direction. There was absolutely no way for the police to gather information on the crime.
