A lot of wildfires have been burning in the valley and the air quality has been very low.
Visibility is only about 2 miles, when it is regularly almost 10. The wildfires have caused a lot of issues with indoor air quality, especially in the ones that are closest to the fires. When I found soot on the furniture in my home, I decided to buy an air purifier. I honestly didn’t know if the air purifier would help, but I was willing to do anything to solve the problem. I thought about paying for an expensive air filtration system, but the hardware store in town had a special on air purifiers. Everything in the air filtration and air purifier section was 20% off. I picked up a portable air purifier that can be moved from the living room to the bedroom and also into the garage. The air purifier has a washable air filter inside of the machine. I tried to wash the air filter every week on Monday. Monday is the day that I choose to do all of that household chores like mow the lawn, run errands, pull weeds from the garden and clean the pool. The air purifier really helps with the indoor air quality and I even considered buying a second portable air purifier just to keep in the bedroom. My allergies symptoms have barely bothered me since I purchased the air purifier. I was taking an allergy pill every night before bed, but I haven’t had the necessity in three or maybe even four weeks.
