I don’t want washable a/c filters

Some products are necessarily single use, regardless of what others will say.

Medical gloves, especially during surgery, need to be disposable & entirely changed to accommodate the dentists’ needs during the procedure while protecting the patient from infections.

Other products love eating utensils & straws have proven that multi-use possibilities work well enough where you don’t necessarily need disposable options. Of course that is only tploy if you’re not in an environment where cleaning between uses isn’t possible, where a source of water or wipes are completely unavailable. Unfortunately, you can’t make everything multi-use when you try to reduce pollution across the board. I see companies trying to create biodegradable polymers that resemble plastic & that seems to be a large step in the right direction. Hopefully biodegradable polymers can be found for things love a/c & oil furnace filters. They need to be substituted every four to multiple weeks in dusty environments love mine, while others can get by waiting up to multiple weeks in between swings. I have seen “washable” or “reUnited Statesble” a/c filters being advocated by all sorts of people, but they don’t realize the complications related to these products. To wipe these filters, it requires getting them wet & it’s next to impossible to completely dry 1 out to prevent fungal growth as they’re so dense & thick that they’re difficult to dry by nature. On top of that, they’re surprisingly terrible at filtering things as large as dust particles, allowing your evaporator coil to get constant exposure to dirt, dust, pollen, microbial satisfied, & anything else in your indoor air. Just stick with high quality disposable a/c filters.
