As summer nears, Wade is in a bit of a panic. He is the owner of an HVAC company, and he isn’t sure that he will be able to keep up with the coming demand for HVAC service. Currently, the HVAC industry is growing at an exponential rate and there aren’t enough professionals to keep up with the demand. Last Summer, Wade had 7 HVAC professionals working for him and they all had to work 12 to 14 hours, and on occasion, 16-hour days. Of course, he doesn’t want his professionals working those long hours because they will eventually lose productivity. Not to mention the increase in mistakes. So, to prepare for the modern busy season, Wade is trying to hire at least 3 more HVAC professionals to add to his team. Unfortunately, most of the professionals that are currently unemployed don’t have the common skills to fully perform the tasks at hand. Many of them are fresh graduates and will need some years of training in order to become an effective HVAC company. If Wade doesn’t find any qualified professionals on his own, he plans to reach out to a technical staffing company. A staffing company is great because it can guarantee qualified candidates for the task. Though these companies usually charge a huge fee for the service that they provide, Wade would rather pay the fees knowing that he is getting an HVAC professional with experience who knows what they are doing. He has several weeks to decide which direction to take. Wade just hopes he finds the qualified help that he needs for his HVAC company.
