It’s sort of difficult to describe just what it’s like to have more than 30 cats in your home.
And no, I’m not a crazy cat lady who just keeps collecting & feeding strays.
I’m the wife of a dear lady who likes to take in stray cats & finds them homes. But having that more than 2 cats inside the central a/c of a property is never a great idea. It didn’t start out like that at all though. Initially, there might be a few cats here for a few weeks. No large deal really. But when word got out about how successful my wifey Jen was at finding homes for these felines, my friend and I had a houseful of cats. I normally would come to the property from being inside the commercial Heating & Air Conditioning of the plant all day to rest in my easy chair a bit. Then, I’d help with supper or other chores. Now, I come property & I’m straight into doing chores to help Jen with all these kitties. Well, it became obvious that Jen and I needed to go about all this in a peculiar way. The heat pump was nearly getting choked out from all the extra cat fur & dander. I was literally checking the air filter for the Heating & Air Conditioning devices every day. It’s unbelievable how much fur gets in the air only to be sucked to the Heating & Air Conditioning return & then stuck to the air filter. It was clear that Jen loved what she was doing so my friend and I needed to make space for just the cats. Jen and I built an addition to the back of the home for just the cats. Jen and I had the Heating & Air Conditioning business install a ductless mini split out there as well. So all the kitties still have plenty of a/c in their new space.
