Southwest heating and air conditioning

Living in the southwestern part of the country has its ups and its downs.

  • Especially when it comes to heating and air conditioning.

The up side is that in the southwestern part of the country, in the winter time months of the year you hardly need any central heating. You only need to turn on your central heating and air conditioning system’s heater in the night time for the most part unless the odd cold day hits. Which happens only a few times in the season. This in turn saves a lot of money on your monthly electric bills when you do not have to run the central heating and air conditioning system unit twenty four hours per day and seven days a week. Which leads me to the downside of living in the southwest part of the united states of america. In the summer time months of the year it is complete reverse of what I just said. You are having to run your central heating and air conditioning system unit’s cooling twenty four hours a day and seven days a week almost non stop! Also the fact that the summer time months of the year last here 7 months of the year unlike most parts of the country, makes it very taxing on your energy bills as well as your bank account! So there are ups and there are downs when it comes to your central heating and air conditioning system living in the southwestern part of the country. But in the end, it pans out in terms of cost because of the minimal use of the central HVAC unit in the winter time months of the year.
