Growing up in a actually warm temperature, I had to deal with grueling summers that consistently seemed to never have an end in sight, however as a kid, I wanted to spend all of my time outside with my friends, but it was near impossible to do so in the dead of the summer time weeks.
Just stepping outside for a few moments in the morning meant I would be hit with a wave of thick humidity that would leave me drenched in sweat, but because of this, I spent most of my summers inside my childhood home, where I could bask in the glory of the a/c the two of us had… The cool of the A/C unit brought relief to my family and me, where the two of us spent numerous summer time afternoons playing board games and watching movies inside.
There was a single summer time where the two of us were met with a cooling issue and the two of us had to seek out a/c repair… Fortunately, the a/c repair was quick and the two of us only suffered a single day without AC… Still, that extremely warm day remains in my memory, even now, but i can vividly remember tossing and turning in my bed feeling enjoy I was on fire! Even taking a chilly shower did not seem to bring any relief. In a way, I am grateful for that experience, because it made me enjoy my A/C unit way more as a result. Luckily, my lake house has faced no A/C issues enjoy that of my childhood home, though I will forever cherish the memories I had there!
