Air conditioning costs plummet with solar shades

But last year, I did the most significant thing I could do to reduce the demand for cooling in our home

When I first moved down here, I was just so thankful not to have to deal with the sort of winter season weather that required me having a gas furnace. That was the most crucial aspect of the transfer in my eyes. I took a lateral position just so I could be done with that sort of winter season weather. Sure, that was relaxing motivation to get me down here. But of course, I realized that there was going to be an offset when it came to my change in climate. For sure, I would no longer have the type of winter season weather that would require me to be stuck inside with the heating going all Winter, and yet, I would have been a fool not to realize that there would be a balance when it comes to the level of heat and humidity this region sees during the Summer. The first year, there wasn’t much I could do however just try to manage my way through the Summer months. And that came with a whole lot of air conditioner from the heat pump. That level of air conditioner was not sustainable because it cost me a fortune. It’s true that I did not have any real heating costs in the winter. But that did not justify me spending crazy amounts of currency for cooling my house. So I started doing little things like programming the digital control unit and sealing up my house. But last year, I did the most significant thing I could do to reduce the demand for cooling in our home. I had a smart control unit installed and synced it with some mechanical solar shades. There is no longer a direct sunshine heating effect that I have to deal with any longer.
