Every 2 to 3 months I change the air filters in my beach house… This is something I have been doing ever since I moved to this property, but before that, I was living in an property in the city, and it is where I learned about the importance of changing air filters frequently… During that time, I knew that particular matters like the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system were the task of the building handyman, he would go to each property with complications such as plumbing, and so much more! After a year of living in my apartment, I started experiencing complications with the heating and cooling… I remember one Summer when the property was boiling and uncomfortable.

He came to my place and started to look at the air filter. It was filthy and I then understood why air wasn’t flowing into my home. The handyman put in a current air filter, and showed me how it is done. He taught me how to change an air filter, and recommended I do so every 2 to 3 months to avoid such complications in future. I took that lesson to heart and have been doing the same in my current home. I make sure to purchase air filters in bundles so I have them at hand when it’s time to update the dirty air filters. A neighbor was at my property the last time I was doing this and he was quite impressed that I know how to change air filters… Most people don’t and they have to pay an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist to do the work for them.
