My dad learned that he had won an HVAC system in a local giveaway event and he was overjoyed.
He has been wanting to improve his home’s air conditioning system for a long time and now seems to be the ideal time.
My dad anxiously waited for the new HVAC system to arrive. He took the day off of work and was getting a little worried that it wouldn’t show up. As my pops sat on his front porch, he noticed that the delivery vehicle was approaching and he started yelling, “it’s here, it’s here.” There was an enormous box that was dropped off on the porch by the delivery driver. The thing that my dad forgot about is that he needs to call the HVAC company to have it fully installed now. My dad got a bit bummed out and completely forgot that he had to set that appointment up. A few minutes later, surprisingly an HVAC van pulled into his driveway. There was an HVAC tech at his house who said, “I’m here to install the new HVAC system.” He told my dad that the HVAC company was tracking the package and had someone on standby for when the heating and cooling system showed up. My dad’s face lit up again and smiled. You can see the sense of relief pouring out of him as he showed the HVAC technician where the old one is so they can remove that system and put in the new HVAC system. My dad was extremely grateful to the HVAC technician and the HVAC company to have someone ready to install this and he can’t wait to feel air conditioning coming from the new cooling system.
