I took the equipment apart & removed the temperature control & the heating element.
The old water boiler in my apartment was rusted & falling apart. I did not realize there was a concern with the water boiler until we did not have hot water. I got into the shower one afternoon & I ran out of hot water halfway through my shower. I never thought for a minute that the issue might be the water heater. I figured one of the youngsters took a long shower & I had to wait for the water to fill back up. I waited about a half an hour & I got back in the shower, unluckyly there was still no hot water. I worked on the rest of the apartment & there was no hot water anywhere! The hot water boiler was not running. I took the equipment apart & removed the temperature control & the heating element. I upgraded both of those things, when I did upgrade the parts of the hot water heater, I noticed that the bottom was easily rusty & falling apart, and at this point, I decided to contact a local plumbing dealer to get a quote on a new hot water heater. The plumbing dealer wanted to know if I was interested in a conventional hot water boiler or a tankless water heater. I did not know the first thing about tankless water heaters, so I thought it would be a nice idea to have a company come to the apartment to give me an estimate. The plumbing company provided this repair really free, so I could get an idea of how much it would cost for both machines.
