Our roof has one area that leaks; Unfortunately the leaky spot is right above the cable & I didn’t notice instantly, however i have a cable stand that looks actually high end & classy. It is actually a pressboard painted to look good, however well when the water after a rainstorm hit it, the cable stand wapred. I also cleaned it with a vacuum hose the other afternoon & left scratches, but so now it is super ugly, but the water also gets dangerously close to my PS5 & my plug strip with all my cords. The cable stand can’t move. I can’t actually wedge a bin on the cable stand everytime it rains too. It rains way too often. I know I need a roof repair. I am a bit uneasy about it. I feel like roof repairs are hardcore extravagant. I tried doing the repair on my own. I attempted liquid cement & caulking around the shingles where the water comes in. I went into my crawl space thinking the issue was in the attic area, however nope, I still have a small leak coming through. I can’t just leave it either. The leaks could really graduate into something much bigger as well. I could have a huge concern on my hands if I don’t get proactive about cleaning it up & getting the repair. I know it doesn’t hurt to get a price quote on a roof repair.
