I know that eventually my ceiling will get harmd & that drywall won’t be the same either, but also, having leaking water just isn’t smart
Our roof has one part that leaks, but unluckyly the leaky spot is right above the television & I didn’t notice immediately, however i have a television sit that looks absolutely high end & classy. It is easily a pressboard painted to look good. Well when the water after a rainstorm hit it, the television sit wapred. I also cleaned it with a vacuum hose the other afternoon & left scratches… So now it is super ugly, but the water also gets dangerously close to my PS5 & my plug strip with all my cords. The television sit can’t move. I cannot absolutely wedge a bin on the television sit everytime it rains too. It rains way too often. I know I need a roof repair. I am a bit nervous about it. I feel like roof repairs are hardcore expensive. I tried doing the repair on my own. I attempted liquid cement & caulking around the shingles where the water comes in. I went into my crawl space thinking the issue was in the attic area, nope, I still have a small leak coming through. I can’t just leave it either. I know that eventually my ceiling will get harmd & that drywall won’t be the same either, but also, having leaking water just isn’t smart. The leaks could absolutely graduate into something much greater as well. I could have a immense concern on my hands if I don’t get proactive about cleaning it up & getting the repair. I know it does not hurt to get a price estimate on a roof repair.
