Heat pump controls air conditioning load

It’s difficult to believe I’m watching the big basketball tournament again.

But here we are in mid-May again, my associate and I. Of course, this is a good thing because it allows me to watch as much basketball as I want. But it also means that the beautiful winter weather is coming to an end. The days of sitting on the porch in the morning with a hoodie on are long gone. The spring weather is beautiful, but it also requires a lot of work from the heat pump. I share a house with about 7 other neighbors. And all of my neighbors are big fans of air conditioning. And that’s why I’m not going to drink too many more coffees on my deck in the morning! Unfortunately, the Heating and Air Conditioning component is right next to my deck, and hearing five or six heat pumps running at the same time can be quite loud. As the hot and cold temperatures have now crept into the 80s, several of my neighbors have gone straight to the air conditioning. Those hot and cold temperatures, however, drop into the mid-60s at night. I’m not sure why people leave the air conditioning on when it’s so pleasant outside at night. However, I believe that a large part of this is due to people’s fear of the heat and humidity down here. As a result, several people I live with are not native to the area and are still adjusting to the level of heat here. I’ve lived here my entire life, so I don’t use the air conditioning as much as my neighbors do, but I am undeniably grateful to have residential Heating and Air Conditioning because there is no way to get through Summer in this region without some air conditioning.
