I’m sure I’ve made a number of stupid choices over my life. One of the mistakes I made last year when my heating and air conditioning system broke down was trying to service it on my own. I’m not really sure what I was thinking when I made the decision to work on the malfunctioning oil furnace. Because I ended up making the furnace issue much worse than it was to begin with, I am aware that I mistakenly believed I was much smarter than I actually am. For some reason, I was adamant about trying to service it myself first when I should have simply called the nearby heating and air conditioning business to schedule an appointment for them to service it in the first place. It was definitely harder to service than it actually was, despite my best efforts to believe otherwise.
