I have struggled with Asthma since I was little.
As I have grown older, I understand the triggers and can deal with them to avoid attacks.
The worst seasons for me are spring and summer. To combat the flare-ups, I have scheduled to switch up my electric heat pump’s AC filters at least every 60 to 90 days. The air conditioning installation occurred about ten years ago, and though the quality HVAC system still works well, sometimes it is not as effective. One morning, I saw a puddle of water near the system and wondered what the issue was. I called my brother, an a/c worker, who advised me to call the indoor comfort business and book an appointment because it seemed the ductwork leaked. I remembered seeing the same thing with the commercial a/c system at the office. The cooling specialist used a different sealant to seal the leaks and promote airflow. During the routine air conditioning service, the a/c professional suggested HEPA filters improve the air quality and help with indoor comfort. He installed the filter. That evening, I noticed a significant increase in the quality of indoor comfort. A week later, the Asthma flare-ups had reduced drastically. Upon reading further on these filters, I discovered they are the best in the market because they trap small dust particles. I later upgraded to a digital thermostat to improve my experience with the system. The filters have been a game-changer and a friend to proper respiratory health. Calling the cooling corporation for a routine air conditioning tune-up was mandatory for me. I also decided to save money to purchase a ductless mini-split to eliminate having to deal with ductwork.
