When I was growing up, my aunt used to hide things in the HVAC duct in her house.
- None of us ever actually knew why she did it, but it was just something that she always did for some reason.
She said that she just never trusted the bank or the government, and back then we all just thought that she was weird. But now that I am older, I understand more about what she was saying. These days, I go back and forth on who I honestly trust as well, as it’s taxing to know who to trust these days. The world is actually a silly place and it seems to be getting crazier all the time too. Anyway, I still haven’t gotten to the point where I’m hiding my currency and my jewelry in the HVAC duct in my study room, however I am honestly getting there at this point in time. I know that I don’t actually have that much of a reason to be scared of putting my currency in the bank right now, however I just don’t like doing it! Maybe I will start hiding stuff in the HVAC duct just like my aunt did. She was one of those ladies who always took things seriously whenever it came to protecting her property, and so she would always make sure to put things where no one would ever think of looking for them. I guess it seemed a little bit silly to us back then, but when my aunt died we found all of her currency, gold coin collection, and jewelry in the air vents and the HVAC duct. We were glad that she had done it, as it was like a treasure hunt when we were getting everything out of the ventilation system.
