My wife had created a website, but she didn’t think it was a strong website that would bring customers to us. Many of them retired and were working for the online marketing company to offset their income. Some of them were still active HVAC technicians and HVAC company owners. I told her I would look them up online and get some idea of what they do before I called them. I wanted to understand what the online marketing company did, and I wanted a list of questions in front of me. Two hours later, I was on the phone to the online marketing company when my wife came into my office. She sat down and quietly listened to the conversation after I put it on speaker. When I finished my questions, she said she had a few more. She asked about the HVAC company website and wanted to know how to improve it. We talked for almost two hours, when the HVAC company specialist asked if he could contact us the next day. I thought he was blowing us off, but the next day he had already changed the existing website, and we were seeing activity on our contact us page.
