Working on a laptop all afternoon is not as simple as some people believe.

The majority of the work is monotonous, and you can perform it in your sleep. You could not have performed your duties if you were unable to rise whenever you pleased. I noticed that some individuals were constantly tapping their toes or dancing under their desks, but without air conditioning, it would be impossible to do so. Last week, when the temperature inside the building reached 92 degrees, not only did our minds shut down, but so did the laptops. They were unable to handle the heat. The hallway temperature was 92 degrees, but the cubicles were even hotter. One engineer asked Human Resources when the air conditioning would be repaired. They required air conditioning in their offices and for their assistants to prevent them from making numerous errors. In addition to sweat running into our eyes, visibility was deteriorating. I was prepared to leave, as were the majority of the assistants in our area. The other four floors of the building had air conditioning, but only ours lacked air conditioning. Twenty minutes after the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier arrived, they instructed the majority of the guests to depart. They would notify us if the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier discovered a problem with the wiring in our floor’s Heating and Air Conditioning system. I heard someone murmur something about an electrical fire, and I was relieved that they did not yell it. That could have created significant complications for the company.
