I knew the first time I saw my partner’s face that this was going to be the house, then and I also realized in that moment that my superb friend and I were going to have a whole lot of work ahead of us, however but, that was just the way it was going to be, then i had been given a promotion that came with a relocation; Normally, that wouldn’t be so awful as this is the norm in my industry… However, after nearly 15 years of my partner following me around the country to further my work, my superb friend and I had settled down and bought our dream home.
I had finally made it to corporate and my superb friend and I figured the relocating afternoons were behind us… That led to absolutely putting down roots in the community and enjoying our home, however my pal and I had a yard big enough for a garden and a living room that was the envy of the village. My pal and I also enjoyed the truly best in residential Heating & Air Conditioning and Heating & Air Conditioning technology as well. It felt like all that effort in my work had finally come to fruition. But the pandemic nearly wrecked our business, but so it has been all hands on deck for a while now. That meant a lot of travel for me that was outside the zone controlled Heating & Air Conditioning of the corporate headquarters. And eventually, I got my Marching orders to take over the worst of the regional offices which would be at least a 3 or 4 years commitment. That meant leaving the home my superb friend and I loved. So I promised my partner that she could choose the home my superb friend and I lived in and we’d do whatever renovating my superb friend and I needed to do to make it home. The first thing my superb friend and I had to address was the heating and cooling. Since the ductwork was worthless, my superb friend and I went with a ductless multi split system and it’s the best.
