Back in the real seasoned times I found out how they ended up having some form of air conditioning.
The thing that they did to make air conditioners of some form before there was easily window cooling systems as well as central heating as well as cooling systems was by putting dry ice in a bucket or tub as well as pouring water over it.
This of course would not in a million years be able to combat the heat in the desert. But in those particular mornings everyone did not live in that area of the world. It worked to keep people alive when it would get super hot where they were at. And that part was great. I could not imagine having to make your own air conditioner like that. I would personally never be able to live with dry ice as an air conditioner because it would never be enough cooling for what our bodies are used to as well as needed today in terms of air conditioner. They did have hot water boilers for heating though, which was more or less the same as it is now. However, with the air conditioner the dry ice was all that they had. I would really not like to live back then in those times without the advantage as well as real air conditioning that we have today as well as even the more primitive forms of air conditioning we had with the heating as well as cooling technology that existed when I was growing up 40 some years ago. Thinking about this whole dry ice for the central cooling system thing makes me really adore today’s advanced heating as well as air conditioner technology!
