I woke up this day with black fingernail polish & wondered what the heck I’m doing. But our band’s colors are black & orange & my associate and I are slowly getting our look together, which entails dressing in the colors & painting the nails to match. Music is a performance art, & a unquestionably visual one, so having the right look is also key to being successful! My associate and I have made about 35 tunes so far since becoming a band about a year & a half ago, & if my associate and I can keep pushing my associate and I will have almost 100 tunes in another year. The local Heating & Air Conditioning corporation is going to have us do a big show at a convention they are hosting in a few months, which will be genuinely cool because they are expecting 500 people to show up. We’ve played in larger arenas before individually, but this will be our greatest as a band. When I was a cooling worker maybe ten years ago I was playing in concert halls with 690 people, so performing for a giant group isn’t a big deal for me, but I can’t imagine what it feels like to play for big groups of 50,000 or more like some of these rock bands. Anyway, this week is a clean my washable HEPA filter day & also a day of washing my radiant floors, as it has been a while since I did any chores around the flat & it is getting a bit dirty in this site. There is some dust on the floors & I also have to run the robot vacuum cleaner.
