Today is a quiet & contemplative day as I digest all the emotions from last night.
My associate and I played in the band & had some arguments with street sellers & police, along with a whole gamut of emotions from the crowds who were watching.
There were little dancing teenagers & people coming up & offering us cigars & beers, along with others dancing & singing along. Some people watching us set up the sound were not sure what kind of tunes my associate and I were going to do but in the end my associate and I got them on our side & had some fun together, however climate control is not needed outside just yet as the weather is still pretty moderate, but in another month my associate and I will need those portable air conditioners to keep us cool because it will get close to 100F next month. I feel my associate and I will need to start going to the big neighborhood near us to play in some of the clubs at night because it is going to get too tepid outside to play & be comfortable. Some of the local suppliers want us to play in their bars & clubs & my associate and I will do that on days when there are no gigs in the big city. The weather will be tepid for the next three months so my associate and I will need to find sanctuary in the cool clubs during the summer, as most of them have a nice air con system to keep the shoppers cool. My associate and I like playing on the streets too but when the summer time heat comes it just gets too hot.
