Start your home upgrade with a smart thermostat

I was casually browsing the internet yesterday when I came across an article talking about AI, technological advances, and smart homes.

I had an idea of what AI meant, but the article got me wondering what the fuss about smart homes is all about.

My curiosity got the better of me, and I found myself digging more into the topic to see what a smart home looks like. I pictured a sleek, modern, and brand new home with new and expensive gadgets and appliances. I was partially right as some of the featured homes were new, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that some were not. My home’s heating equipment frequently has issues, so naturally, the first thing I checked was the electric heating system. There was a paragraph featuring an experienced HVAC specialist who explained how an electric heat pump works with a wireless thermostat. The heating technician shared energy-saving tips, and I was happy to learn that I can upgrade my home and save on energy costs with the current boiler. This was a relief because I checked the different HVAC products for sale, and the prices were nothing to smile about. Things have been particularly tough financially since I moved out of the shared apartment where I was staying with two of my childhood friends. I’m confident that simple heater maintenance to install a HEPA filter or heat pump installation can solve my problem. I plan to contact an HVAC serviceman to discuss upgrading my boiler and confirm whether it will be enough to save costs or if I will need to install a new electric HVAC altogether. Whichever the case, this small step will be the first of many, as I intend to transform my home with smart appliances and experience the comfort and convenience that come with a smart home.
