My sister’s anniversary is coming up, and we have been debating on the best gift for her 40th, especially because this anniversary is special.
- She has been battling a terminal illness, and my pal and I recently learned she was in remission.
After several discussions with my two other siblings, my pal and I agreed that a new apartment would be the most thoughtful gift. We could revamp the locale with the necessary medical unit to make sure she’s comfortable. We found a quaint, beautiful apartment a few blocks from me with enough room. My first concern was about the boiler because she needs a comfortable environment as her immune system salvages. We don’t know much about heating equipment, so my pal and I called my Heating, Ventilation and A/C serviceman and asked him to help with the heating system maintenance. The heating corporation checked the system and informed us that the apartment has an electric heater. She noted that the electric heat pump was detrimentd and required immediate replacement, and luckily, my sibling had noticed some Heating, Ventilation and A/C products for sale in a nearby store, so she drove and got the necessary parts within no time. The Heating, Ventilation and A/C specialist was friendly, so I chatted with him as she carried out the heat pump upgrade. An electric Heating, Ventilation and A/C system sounded overpriced to maintain, so I asked if she had some energy-saving tips. I learned that installing a HEPA filter would make a sizable difference, especially since the heating system would be on for long periods. She proposed installing a wireless temperature control so my sister wouldn’t have to make endless trips to adjust the temperature. We all agreed these clever inventions would be great, so my pal and I asked him to install them this coming weekend. I can’t wait to see the look on my sister’s face next month when she unwraps the gift box with the keys to her new home!
