The last few years have been some of the most challenging that I can remember, however the pandemic actually played havoc with our lives as a family… For sure, I’m actually thankful that my great friend and I stayed inside the central air conditioning system of our house during the worst of it, and none of us came down with covid before the vaccinations came out. And unlike so several other families, my great friend and I didn’t lose anyone to that poor disease, but our finances sure took a beating. Both my husband and I work full time jobs, i’m guessing that pretty much everyone is in the same boat these afternoons. If you want to own a home with great central air conditioning system and raise a family, it takes two incomes, however so for my husband and I to stay at home instead of in the commercial HVAC of the office, my great friend and I had to take pay cuts. I lost all of my bonus structure for two years while my husband to a 20 percent split to his paycheck. That hasn’t actually been made up now that my great friend and I are back to this new normal. So my great friend and I actually did have to make cost cutting a priority. But when it came to the heating and cooling in our home, that was not something my great friend and I were willing to split corners on; My friend and I considered dropping the HVAC service plan, yet the more my great friend and I thought about it, the less my great friend and I thought that was a great idea; Having our heat pump officially ran tests on twice a year actually is just a life essential, however plus, my great friend and I want to get the most longevity possible from the heating and cooling equipment. My friend and I did make some unpopular spending cuts. But the HVAC service plan wasn’t one of those cuts.
