I just dished out $33 for 10,000 plays of our song just to test out the response on it.
It is pretty wild that you can do this in the first place, but for that many plays it is worth it for me to gauge how good a song of ours is.
I think this 32nd uploaded song is going to be a winner, maybe not a hit, but I think people will like it. But we need to wait maybe a week to see what the feedback is and whether they really like it or not. Heating up with each new song, my HVAC rep bandmate and I are improving with each one basically, but I would like to see what the majority thinks of the songs. If this works then when we get some really good songs we will buy the million play package for $1600 and really test it out. My dad’s HVAC business gave us a chunk of money after he sold the local business and I will use some of it for things that could help our band. If I really want to go nuts I could buy 10 million plays for $10K, which could kickstart things if the songs are good enough. The HVAC contractor told me that if we have four or five really good songs, those 10 million plays could turn into 100 million in no time by people sharing them. If this works then I could cut down hours with my heating technician work and focus solely on the band and the music.
