I will get a flat with a wonderful central Heating, Ventilation plus A/C system, like my wonderful friend and I have in this flat also, and a nice granite fireplace so I can keep doing my fires each week.
Today I am going to get my dinner made early so that I can come condo after the sunset and be ready to eat. I am making chicken slow roasted with peppers, tomatoes, and green pepper. I cook it slowly on the stovetop for a couple of hours, along with some fresh rosemary and spices, and serve it over some steamed basmati rice with a little bit of soy sauce on top. It is a tasty meal and is healthy too, and my roommate and I will love it while my wonderful friend and I watch a fire in the fireplace. Sure I could skip the fire and just turn on the central boiler, but that would take away from the cozy warmth and flames that the fire gives us, while also saving us some money on our power bills. I have been staying in this flat for three years this month and plan on staying another three years till I transfer into a rooftop flat near the coast for my 60th anniversary. When the summer time comes with all of its heat, the fires will go on the backburner till winter time rolls around again. I don’t like doing fires in the summertime because the heat from it is too much and it defeats the purpose of the a/c. I’m okay with no fires in the summer time because most of my time is spent at the beach.
