When you live your whole life in a chilly climate, you think you have seen every kind of system out there to keep yourself warm.
I have had all kinds of peculiar heating elements, from fireplaces, gas heating systems, and even a boiler at one point. I honestly thought I had our heating needs all under wrap, however I was soon to learn this was not the case. It started when my acquaintance down the street was telling almost everyone within earshot about her new radiant floors. Heated floors weren’t that popular and were new to our area so I knew very few people that bothered with them. My acquaintance was unintentionally causing our nearby HVAC device supplier to get a lot of business when she started inviting almost everyone over to her home to try out the radiant floors in her house. I didn’t go over to her place but a lot of my friends did and that is how word got back to me. As great as it sounded it suddenly became annoying when our friends wouldn’t shut up about it. They would come over to my place to spend time with me but talk the entire time about her radiant floors. I finally had enough and decided to see what was so great about it, but when I went over there I will confess I changed my mind very fast. The heated flooring made the home feel so warm and comfortable. It worked alongside her central heating and A/C plan and made the whole place nice and toasty. It was the warmest house I have been in, and most pressingly it kept the chill out, then now I needed one too.
