I’m not sure what has been going on with the weather, it has been just crazy and unpredictable lately.
Last week it was raining every single day and cool, this week it has been incredibly hot and humid.
Every single day it is over 90 degrees and you can just feel the humidity in the air, it’s ridiculous. I have been avoiding going outside this entire week just to avoid that feeling. However, unluckily for the HVAC specialist, I had an HVAC appointment for today. I really felt bad for the HVAC technicians that are still going out and repairing air conditioners in the hot weather, but in a way, they are heroes, because they are giving me the wonderful cooling of air conditioning machines. To make things worse the HVAC professional was actually running behind schedule, which not only affected me, but I’m sure that meant he was staying out even longer in the brutal weather. Finally, an hour later, the HVAC worker arrived and seemed out of breath. He didn’t say much to me but just immediately went straight to HVAC repair. As I watched him work, I felt really bad, so I prepared a snack and cold water for him. He finished early, and I gave him the snack and water. He thanked me profusely and drank all of the water and asked for more. It turns out most people don’t seem to care enough to give anything, not even water to the HVAC people, which made me feel bad for them. We talked for a bit before he had to go on his way to repair more heaters and A/C.
