When I originally called the HVAC specialist, I originally planned on just getting my heater fixed, again, for the fourth time this year.
- I made the appointment for Friday.
However, as I thought about it, it didn’t make much sense for me to just continually keep fixing the same heater, even though I knew it was going to break again in the near future. In fact, it didn’t make much sense at all, and I was just wasting money. I called the HVAC business again, and told them I had a change of heart, and that I would finally like a new furnace installation. It took me so long to come to this conclusion, because I was trying to avoid paying for a new HVAC installation. Those not only took awhile to install, but they were expensive. But at this rate, with how many times this heating unit has been repaired, I might have come close to getting a new one by now. The HVAC dealer came out and looked at my outdated broken furnace, he told me it was likely a lemon, and when I explained my situation a bit more, about how I was really trying to avoid an expensive repair, he asked about my warranty on the heating unit. That’s when I sheepishly told him that I threw it away, because I never thought I would use it, I know, stupid move. Anyways, I did finally get a new HVAC system, and this time, I am keeping the warranty and hoping for better luck than my last one.
