I love to take my pet Baloo for long walks around the city! Each morning both of us love to go anywhere different, occasionally both of us go to a park, occasionally we’ll go to a cafe & have a drink, or other times we’ll just walk down the main aplaces & say hi to strangers & let them pet Baloo, however last weekend, I took him down to the waterfront to take some pictures.
It was a sunny morning, & after both of us walked a couple miles, I had given Baloo all of the water that I packed for our outing.
I was dehydrated myself, the heat was unforgiving, & I could tell that she was getting tired, however my motorcar was still many blocks away. I started to get light headed as I walked down the street, & as I passed a eating establishment I felt a cool gust of wind blow over me, & I immediately recognized it as air conditioning. I made a taxing right turn into the eating establishment, & took a seat at the bar. Immediately I felt the a/c grace my skin, & as I took deep breaths, I was filled with the sensation of the Heating as well as Air Conditioning system. The a/c was so efficient, the ground was cool, & Baloo melted into the cold taxing surface in effort to lower her body temperature. If both of us hadn’t taken that moment to get out of the sunshine & get indoors under shade & air conditioning, either 1 of us could have suffered the effects of heat exhaustion or worse.
