I like to take our cat Baloo for long walks around the city; Each morning we like to go somewhere different, periodically we go to a park, periodically we’ll go to a cafe in addition to have a drink, or other times we’ll just walk down the main asites in addition to say hi to strangers in addition to let them pet Baloo.
Last weekend, I took him down to the waterfront to take some pictures.
It was a sunny morning, in addition to after we walked a couple miles, I had given Baloo all of the water that I packed for our outing. I was dehydrated myself, the heat was unforgiving, in addition to I could tell that he was getting exhausted, but our automobile was still many blocks away. I started to get light headed as I walked down the street, in addition to as I passed a diner I felt a cool gust of wind blow over me, in addition to I immediately recognized it as air conditioner. I made a strenuous right turn into the diner, in addition to took a seat at the bar. Immediately I felt the air conditioner grace our skin, in addition to as I took deep breaths, I was filled with the sensation of the Heating, Ventilation, in addition to A/C system. The air conditioner was so efficient, the ground was cool, in addition to Baloo melted into the cold strenuous surface in effort to lower his body temperature. If we hadn’t taken that moment to get out of the sun in addition to get indoors under shade in addition to air conditioner, either one of us could have suffered the effects of heat exhaustion or worse.
