Last Fall, after being quarantined for several months, some friends plus I took a trip to the beach.
Both of us packed my automobile full of cold drinks plus car-friendly snack foods, put on a playlist plus hit the road, however when the people I was with and I got to our destination, the people I was with and I didn’t even bother checking into the hotel, the people I was with and I just parked the automobile plus went right to the beach.
After a few beers, the people I was with and I realized that the people I was with and I had been in the sunshine for several hours, plus forgot to put on sunscreen, plus much to our dismay the people I was with and I all had pink shoulders plus stomachs, ripe with burns from the brutal beach sun. Once the people I was with and I finally made it to the hotel, I took a shower plus then slathered my skin with aloe vera, plus before I laid in bed I turned on the air conditioning, plus instantly felt it’s cooling touch on my ravished skin. The air conditioning in the hotel was magical, not only soothing my seared skin, however the cool air also calmed my nerves plus helped me relax to a level I’ve never achieved before. The next day at the beach was much cooler, more clouds in the sky meant the sunshine wasn’t shining as bright, plus the wind was blowing cold air onto the shore, which fet nice on our sunburnt bodies, however once the sunshine started to set, the people I was with and I started to freeze in our wet bathing suits. Since the people I was with and I only prepared for Summer beach weather, the people I was with and I ran back to the hotel plus cranked the heater. Both of us were still shivering from being so cold at the beach, the gas furnace gave much needed warmth to our bodies, giving us a cozy space to watch movies plus adore the rest of our trip.
