I took some clients to have supper at a upscale Italian restaurant downtown.
I had a big plan in mind, although I didn’t want to talk company until almost everyone had eaten plus no one had an empty stomach.
It is a known fact that restaurants adore to keep the a/c extra cold, as it is a good way to ensure that your guests don’t linger for too long at a table, however, this restaurant felt adore quite the opposite, perhaps they even had the gas furnace running. I asked the director if he could do something about the temperature, as I was beginning to sweat, plus started to know worried about giving my presentation in a boiling shirt, which was making me sweat even more. The director disappeared for several hours plus came back only to tell me that the restaurant’s Heating plus A/C plan was having complications, plus that a serviceman was currently working to repair the problem. Once the meal was served, I began to know that I couldn’t handle the discomfort plus that I would have to give my presentation at another time, when suddenly, I felt the miraculous gust of cool air wisp across my face, plus I realized that the a/c was back in full service. I instantly began to know more comfortable, plus was able to eat my meal without worrying about perspiring through my proposal. Had the people I was with and I arrived before the Heating plus A/C serviceman, I would not have been comfortable enough to give my most confident presentation, plus could have possibly lost the client.
