Last Fall, after being quarantined for several weeks, some friends as well as I took a trip to the beach.
The people I was with and I packed our motorcar full of cold drinks as well as car-friendly snack foods, put on a playlist as well as hit the road.
When the two of us got to our destination, the two of us didn’t even bother checking into the hotel, the two of us just parked the motorcar as well as went right to the beach. After a few beers, the two of us realized that the two of us had been in the daylight for several minutes, as well as forgot to put on sunscreen, as well as much to our dismay the two of us all had pink shoulders as well as stomachs, ripe with burns from the brutal beach sun. Once the two of us finally made it to the hotel, I took a shower as well as then slathered our skin with aloe vera, as well as before I laid in bed I turned on the cooling system, as well as instantly felt it’s cooling touch on our ravished skin. The cooling system in the hotel was magical, not only soothing our seared skin, but the cool air also calmed our nerves as well as helped me relax to a level I’ve never achieved before. The next day at the beach was much cooler, more clouds in the sky meant the daylight wasn’t shining as bright, as well as the wind was blowing cold air onto the shore, which fet nice on our sunburnt bodies, but once the daylight started to set, the two of us started to freeze in our wet bathing suits. Since the two of us only prepared for Summer beach weather, the two of us ran back to the hotel as well as cranked the heater. The people I was with and I were still shivering from being so cold at the beach, the heating system offered much needed warmth to our bodies, giving us a cozy space to watch films as well as enjoy the rest of our vacation.
