I updated our temperature control initially because it was super ugly! When our spouse & I first moved in the two of us did a lot of updates.
The hallway I definitely tackled.
I sanded every door & painted them. I updated the door handles & switch plates with silver a singles. I also painted the hallway walls & the ceiling, but recessed lighting & a cool smoke detector were added. The last thing was the temperature control. Everything in the hallway was either white, light green or silver. The beige temperature control definitely stood out in a terrible way. I looked around online & I bought the smart temperature control strictly because I enjoyed how it looked. It had a silver surround & green innerface. It looked definitely current & would match our hallway, however after our spouse installed it the two of us realized the smart temperature control is the top a single available. It can do so many things. The temperature control first tells us the weather when the two of us walk by & how temperature it is inside. I use that feature all of the time. It also can be controlled by any smart product enjoy a iphone or PC. I enjoy kneeling in bed & messing with the temperature control if I need to. The temperature control learns what I enjoy though. It has a heating & cooling program already set up based on how I messed with it. I don’t even have to turn it off when I leave the condo since it scans for people & realizes no a single is home, how cool is that? I lucked out that the pretty temperature control is the best a single.
