Eventually I will need to update our heating & cooling system.
- The component is 18 years aged & makes a horrible, high pitched whistle noise from outside.
The outdoor component sounds enjoy it is screaming occasionally. It is hard being outside when it does this. I called the local Heating, Ventilation, & A/C dealer & got the component totally cleaned. I even updated parts on the component the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C tech advocated . I did everything I could know of. The girl finally admitted that unless I wanted to update the whole unit, no more repairs could be made. I did some research online & our brand of Heating, Ventilation, & A/C is known to be quite loud. Additionally, the year our Heating, Ventilation, & A/C came out was also said to make the whistle sound. I found others online that suffer from the same issues as I do. They have done all the cleanings, oilings & tightening of parts enjoy I did. Nobody has been able to repair the issue, so I now need to just endure a loud component & wait for it to die. Once it quits, I can get a modern Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system that is totally quiet. I refuse to change our heating system & a/c out until it dies though. The system works perfectly fine. If you are inside the condo you don’t even notice the whistle sound. I am hesitant to entertain people outdoors though due to the noise. It is so loud, terrible & embarrassing. Right where I would seat people is where the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C is located too. It would be hard to talk over it.
