Challenges of HVAC maintenance servicing

Last Sunday, I started servicing all of the AC units inside of beach house building 1.

I work as a maintenance engineer for a giant beach house complex.

The lot has 12 beach house buildings & there are 16 apartments inside of each building. Before the summer time season began, I took care of every single AC component in each of the apartments on the property! Last week, I started with building 1. I only made it through a few AC services, before I found a major problem. The tenant had a giant clock located in front of the door for the heating, ventilation plus A/C unit. The door has slats because there has to be regular airflow in order for the heating, ventilation plus A/C component to constantly work. When I realized that the tenant had a giant piece of furniture in front of the door, I had to transfer it. I called another one of the guys that works for the property. We met me inside of the beach house & the two of us carefully moved the furniture. Inside the heating, ventilation plus A/C closet I found a great deal of dust & indoor pollutants! Since there was barely any air flow, the heating, ventilation plus A/C component was undoubtedly dirty. The unit was only a year old & the motor was already making a slight sound. The supervisor sent a note to the tenant of that beach house after I left. He told the tenant not to place the furniture in front of the HVAC closet or he would be responsible for any repairs.
