When I was finishing my undergraduate thesis, my brain felt like it was going to explode.
- I had gone through four different drafts of the entire work and I was on a strict deadline to finish before defending it in front of a committee.
Thankfully the writing workshop in the school library was helpful with suggesting changes to the prose to strengthen some of my sentences. By the time I finished the final draft, I had just days before I had to deliver copies of it to all of the professors on my thesis committee. I stupidly assumed that the school library would print my thesis for me, but I found out a day before that I was responsible for printing all five copies that had to be delivered the following day. I freaked out and wondered where I could possibly get these printed. Fortunately I found a local commercial printing service after a little bit of searching on the internet. When I showed up and told them about my needs, they told me that I was the fifth person thus far that day that was from my college and also printing out their own theses. It was an easy process, but it took a few minutes. While I was waiting on my paperwork to get printed, I was watching another employee help a local business owner with new signs and graphics to put inside his store. They had created signs the size of posters, as well a huge banner for his front window. They also had a digital color label printer that was busy churning out labels for packages of herbal tea.
