I studied university in Europe, the U.K.
to be precise and I loved it there.
The only key drawback is the major cold. It always seems that it is winter all year through in the U.K. Otherwise the country is beautiful and accepting. I had so much fun in this country. As an HVAC tech graduate, I found myself comparing heating devices and heating and cooling services. There is not much difference when it comes to these two mentioned subject matters. The apartment I shared with my friend had a dual fuel system that operated the same as the hybrid heating system back at home in the U.S. The only different thing was the cost of fuel in the U.K. was fairly inexpensive compared to prices in the U.S. considering the exchange rate. My apartment also had a fireplace, which was also a gas fireplace. The owner of the apartment had told me that he was crazy about these units and had installed one in every one of his properties. The heated floors were more famous and cheaper compared to their popularity in the U.S. The reason behind this is that Europe is always cold and would need radiant heating more than their American counterparts. Just like in America, Europe has a wide variety of regulators but my all-time favorite is the programmable thermostat. This device learns the homeowner’s preferred temperature and can set the temperature whenever the house is occupied to provide whole-home heating. I have interacted with a couple of HVAC contractors and they seem to have almost similar qualifications as my counterparts in America. HVAC professionals installed the ductless multi-split unit at school to help with indoor comfort, especially in the school labs.
