Back in the Spring, I won a raffle that they were doing to raise money for our son’s school.

I bought a few tickets, although I never definitely expected to win anything.

However, I somehow ended up winning the grand prize! I was definitely surprised that I won because I never win anything. I truthfully don’t guess that I have ever won anything else in our entire life, even a game of Bingo. But somehow, the stars must have all aligned that day of the raffle drawing because I got the call that I had won the prize. I was even more excited when I found out what the prize was because I had won a brand new high efficiency heating plus cooling system! I’m excited that most of the schools around here where the two of us live now actually do have a/c in most of the classrooms. It makes life much easier.
