When our kids proved that they were not capable of keeping their hands off the thermostat, we had no other choice but to purchase a protective box to place around the thermostat. One installed, it would prevent anyone from opening it up and changing the temperature without a key. My husband and I hid the key in a secret location and we never shared the location around the kids. Once they know where it’s at, they’ll steal it to change the temperature. Our kids were furious at first, but we haven’t had any issues with the temperature changing since! We should’ve installed the box around our thermostat a long time ago.

When you guess about renting a motel room you at least expect there to be the basic necessities; a bed, shower and desk. The more you spend on a room but, the more you would expect this room to meet your needs and expectations for a comfortable stay… Sometimes finding a nice valuable room can be difficult and you may have to stay in the room that they have available for you. The last motel I checked into only had one room available for me, so I took this room expecting the basic necessities, but never thinking about the important job of temperature control, however after I checked in and spent some time in my room the Heating, Ventilation and A/C unit broke and I was not able to control the temperature of my room. I started to feel the chilly weather from outside start to fill my room. I notified the front desk and they sent a corporation to my room; She was unsure of how to repair the issue and told me she would call a Heating, Ventilation and A/C corporation to come repair the unit, and when the Heating, Ventilation and A/C repair corporation showed up at my room, she fixed the unit in only a couple of minutes and the Heating, Ventilation and A/C equipment was toiling again. She told me that the motel needs to do regular maintenance on their boilers and air-conditioners so that they can prevent unexpected breakdowns from happening, however no one’s stay should be affected because of unsatisfactory temperature control. I guess it’s safe to say that passable temperature control is now on my list of needs.

The classes are smaller & almost everyone seems to be really friendly! Last week, I was arenad in a classroom that I’d never taught in before.
It was a sizable classroom with tall ceilings & enough room to fit 30 desks. There were 4 giant air vents that poured air into the classroom, which created a sizable concern for me; Even though the temperature outside was close to 71 degrees, the cinder block classroom felt frigid. At one point, my fingertips were frozen solid & I struggled to type anything on the keyboard. After realizing that the air conditioner was not going to stop, I started analyzing the walls for the thermostat. I searched high & low, & I was about to supply up looking when I finally found it. It was so old that I didn’t even believe it! It was a dingy cream color with a tiny screen. I studied it for a moment because I couldn’t figure out how to change the temperature. There were no buttons to push. However, I finally observed a latch to lower the front piece of the thermostat, which revealed the control panel, then from here, I was able to bump the temperature up by a few degrees. I didn’t want to change it too much, just enough to thaw out my fingers.
