I knew how to switch from heating to cooling. That was it. She told me that there are a lot of people that do not know much about HVAC systems. The HVAC professional is there to help for a reason. She came to my home and looked at the HVAC unit. It was a minor issue that she solved quite abruptly. I could not even remember what she said was wrong because it was like another language. I am just glad I can count on HVAC professionals to help me.

I used to work out all the time, but as I’ve gotten older, I find it more taxing to get my body moving, however i always blame my lack of exercise on my ridiculous schedule, but if I’m being fair with myself, I don’t do it because I’m lazy plus out of shape! When I was in school, I would spend hours at the gym plus even more time running outside; Now, the thought of doing any of that makes me ill, this is why when a acquaintance of mine asked me to work out with her, I declined, but she was relentless though, plus she practically begged me to join her.

I assumed we’d be at a gym, even though she claimed that her at home gym was even better.

I found that taxing to believe, but I decided to try, then of course on the afternoon my enjoyable friend and I were tied up to workout, the temperature was well over 85 degrees plus the humidity was thick, then my acquaintance had an entire gym set up in her garage, but I was surprised that she had the door closed. I thought I was going to die in the heat, then however, I was shocked when I walked into the space plus it felt cool. It felt like her air conditioning was running, but there were no air vents. My acquaintance showed me the ductless mini split system connected to the wall, plus she showed me how it worked. Apparently, the ductless mini split system was used to cool her at home gym separate from affixing to the existing HVAC duct. I felt so cool plus comfortable working out that afternoon, plus I decided to join her again many times after that!

I have three kids who are all teenagers.

As you can imagine, my home is regularly a mess & our schedule is crazy.

None of my kids are able to drive yet, so my fiance & I are always running them around from activity to activity. This past year has proven really difficult to stay on top of their shenanigans, because they got into a really bad habit of changing the thermostat settings. When my fiance & I told them that they weren’t allowed to change the temperature of our home without permission, they argued that their friends were able to do it at their houses. This seemed unlikely, but even so, my friend and I couldn’t’ afford to recklessly heat & cool our house. My friend and I had a smart thermostat that controlled the temperature for us so that our Heating, Ventilation & A/C system would run efficiently. When our kids proved that they were not capable of keeping their hands off the thermostat, my friend and I had no other option but to purchase a protective box to arena around the thermostat. One installed, it would prevent anyone from opening it up & changing the temperature without a key. My fiance & I hid the key in a secret location & my friend and I never shared the location around the kids. Once they know where it’s at, they’ll steal it to change the temperature. Our kids were furious at first, but my friend and I haven’t had any issues with the temperature changing since! My friend and I should’ve installed the box around our thermostat a long time ago.
