The Quietest Air Conditioners

We haven’t played songs with our band in over a week and I am getting withdrawals.

Last Thursday we were supposed to play however my voice was still hoarse from too much singing the week before.

Now my voice is back though and I am ready to go, however the weather doesn’t look so nice right now. It is gray and rainy looking outside so I feel we will not be able to play again this week, however tomorrow looks to be sunny so we will play tomorrow. I need some time off for my voice and cooling down this week in the flat reminds me that summertime is here and my air conditioning is going to get a workout for a while. It will be hot for another three months and this neighborhood is going to be bursting at the seams with tourists. I will do what I normally do and work at the HVAC company a few times a week doing heating and cooling repairs for the main man. It is a good job and I plan on working in the field for another few years till I cut back a bit more on my hours. I feel doing HVAC repairs 10 hours a week for the heating supplier is something I could do the rest of my life. I will be in my 60’s in a few years and that will be my decade to focus mainly on songs and having fun because the 70’s starts to slow down for all the people. My HVAC supplier is still going strong though in his 69’s.
Heating and cooling service

I can smell my sandwich cooking on the stove and it is making me hungrier.

I feel it will be ready in a few minutes, which is a good thing because I am getting absolutely hungry. After I eat I will go for a short bike ride to test out my new brakes I just got put on. It only cost me $20 for the brakes and I am thinking that just the rear brake will be enough to stop my little folding bike. I could buy another brake caliper for the front as well, however the local supplier is out of them till they order more from the local supplier in another town. Maybe I can repair the one that is on my bike now, however the way it looks with all of the rust on it I don’t know if it is possible! My HVAC worker friend is coming over tomorrow to take a look at our HVAC system to see if it needs a tune up soon. I have not had the thing looked at in a long time and I noticed that my power bills have been creeping up over the past few months. I bet that the HEPA filter is dirty and I also feel the cooling system component may need to be charged as it seems to be running more than normal. As for the heat I absolutely don’t know yet because it is summer time and I have not run the heat for like six months. I know the heating worker friend will tell me what I have to do.

I have my sandwich cooking away on the stove, giving me something to look forward to this week! I absolutely have a problem with grilled cheese sandwiches, eating them almost every single day for years now. I like to eat them with pickle soup, even though I have switched over to pickle juice because it has no added sugars. The bread I eat also has zero sugar so I am hoping that my addiction isn’t so bad for me. I know the cheese is the worst thing, even though I only use a small slice so I feel I may be fine. The cooling worker eats them every afternoon too, for as long as she has been working at the HVAC business, and she says they are totally good for you. I suppose one small slice of cheese a afternoon is okay, and it is going to have to be okay because I can’t stop eating those tasty crispy sandwiches. When I was a local supplier back home I used to eat a BLT each afternoon at this local business, however after reading about how bad bacon is I stopped. Now I get my repair with the cheese sandwich and pickle juice for lunch each afternoon, just like I will be having in about 15 more minutes. Anyway, this week I am going to clean my washable filter and play with the cats for a bit after I get my heating and cooling writing work done. It is Thursday and the town is pretty packed so I am going to basically stay in the flat all afternoon.

Some nights are better than others, and this week is one of those nights that doesn’t seem to be one of them.

I feel sleepy this week and not feeling like being out in the chaos of our neighborhood with the big festival going on.

We also have a big rugby tournament on the beach where I normally hang out, so it is pretty much a zoo in the whole town. But in about three nights it will calm down again and I can safely go out without getting bombarded with people in the streets and around town. The local supplier owners are all thrilled when it is crowded, however with the weather heating up there is no arena to go for reprieve. I feel tired because the heat has absolutely been getting absurd and my body needs time to adjust to it. It wasn’t long ago that I was running my radiant heated floors to warm up my feet, along with running the heater to take the chill out of the air. Well, those nights are long gone and it will be hot here for the next three months. But in three months I will shut off the air conditioner and give it a cut before turning the electric heater on for the winter. I need to decide in the next couple of weeks if I am going to meet my brother for a trip to this other country for a week. I just dread the air conditioned plane ride and those ice cold airports with the cooling system blasting way too much.

I feel my brother may pop into my neighborhood in a month to go see Tom Jones, who is 83 years old and still going strong.

I remember my grandpa at 83 and he seemed so old and feeble compared to this legend.

I know when you have a passion like songs it keeps you young and keeps you going. My grandpa just liked to fish, which compared to singing music in front of thousands of people is quite boring indeed. I just got into songs myself a few years ago and hope it will push me along, heating up my desire to keep living life to the fullest. A 5000 seat air conditioned concert hall is where we will watch Tom perform, if my brother does end up coming here then. I wonder if Tom still has a fantastic voice after all of these years singing like that. My HVAC tech cousin may come along too if he can cut loose from his HVAC supplier long enough to make the week long trip over here. I just looked at the price of the tickets and Tom aint cheap, charging up to $400 a ticket for the fantastic seats. I bet the local supplier where he is performing takes a nice chunk of that money to cover heating and cooling expenses of the big concert hall. I will talk with my brother to see if he feels like paying that much to go see the legend while he is still performing. Anyway, I’m going to finish this heating and cooling article and then hit the yoga mat.

I am doing day number four with bleaching my teeth and they are for sure getting pale whiter. I’m using those Crest pale white strips called radiant express and they seem to absolutely be making my teeth pale whiter with each use. If you’re looking to make your smile pale whiter too then give these bad boys a shot. They cost like $35 for a two week supply, which I feel will last me for two separate rounds of pale whitening. Today is Thursday and last evening I met some cool chic who painted caricatures and I am sure I’ll see her again. The local supplier where she was painting is right next to the HVAC company where I work, and I also got her card so maybe we can meet again to chat. I like talking to other artists because I can relate to their mindsets, as opposed to my working class friends back in the States who just seem to talk about their kids and what they are buying. My life is so different now as a musian compared to when I was a heating supplier back home running my HVAC dealership. I liked it for a while however then after doing it for a decade I wanted a change. I didn’t have any kids so it was easy to shut down my HVAC supplier and move overseas to begin a new life as a HVAC duct cleaning worker part time. I was working way too many hours trying to keep that company going and now I just dabble in it part time for a local supplier.

I was talking about how I changed my life to a more easy one over the past few years.

It took me like five years to simplify my life as I had a ton of toys and properties tying me down with debt.

I grew tired of constantly having to work so much to keep up with my lifestyle, so one afternoon I decided I had enough and it was time for a change. I was working about 60 hours a week, and had been for numerous years, however after that I told myself no more. I shut down my local supplier after I paid off my debts from selling my local supplier and after that I made a plan to get away to another country. I moved to a new country and did stand up comedy there for a few years before moving to a smaller neighborhood to simplify life even more. Now I play songs for the HVAC company with my bandmate and left comedy in the past as it was troubling my mind too much. Comedy uses the mind a lot while songs seem to tap into the heart more. I work for the heating supplier about 15 hours a week and I feel my HVAC tech job is the best. I don’t feel I can simplify my life much more than it is and I am pretty thrilled where it is now. The cooling supplier work is easy and I have a lot of time to work on my music with my buddy. Life will be heating up soon with this newer songs venture.

I was pretty thrilled last evening when I went to bed, knowing I made about $1500 that afternoon with my EV company shares.

But waking up this day was a peculiar story as all my profits disappeared and I ended up being down over a thousand bucks.

Well, this is how the market goes and just when you feel you had it all figured out you realize you haven’t got a clue. All I know is holding long term usually results in making money, so that is what I am going to do with the 17200 shares I have. Heating and cooling system work is looming in the background this weekend as we get ready to do a big HVAC duct cleaning and sealing job for this local business. I feel we are going to beginning tomorrow because this week is a big rugby tournament and there are going to be a lot of fantastic games to watch. My HVAC tech friend is playing in it and I want to watch as the competition is heating up later on where I normally play volleyball. It is a hot one this week and I am going to stay in my flat till about 6pm when it starts to cool off a bit. I feel my cooling company friend is coming to the neighborhood and my other friend who does heat pump repairs is talking about coming to watch the rugby match as well. It will be a fun afternoon hanging out with them and just being spectators for once, as we normally are playing ball there.

New heating units

I need to grab an allen wrench set this week because I need them sometimes and typically have to borrow from my neighbor.

I feel I can buy a set for $5 so why not get it and have it when I need it? I suppose it is just laziness so maybe I should stop bothering him and buy a set of them.

Okay, I am back and he just loaned me the tools and now my bike has brakes again, well at least on the back wheel for now. I need to buy one more caliper at the local supplier however they are $20 a piece and one brake works just great for this little bike, with the natural weather conditions control it gives me when I ride, that I will test out the brakes and make sure I can stop well with just the back one for now, even though I am sure it will work great because I ride slowly in this small town. The new supplier in the neighborhood is having a sale on the HVAC systems and all of the smart thermostats and I feel I may take a ride down there to see if there is anything I could use. My component is running well for now however you never know when you need something else and it is good to check out their prices. They had gas fireplaces last time I went there and even some old oil boilers for sale, which is something I would absolutely not want to buy again seeing how many problems we had with our old oil heater.

I have my boy cat on a diet for the next few months because he is starting to get a bit too big in the waist. He tends to eat most of the food each day and my girl cat is shrinking as a result. So now I feed her first and keep him in the bedroom till she is done eating, then he gets to come out and eat the rest of the food. I can’t have one fat cat and one skinny cat because it isn’t fair for the girl cat to be hungry all the time, but air purifiers in my home keep the air quality unbelievable here as we have three cats and I am a bit allergic to them, which is the same as my Heating and A/C tech acquaintance who has two cats in her home that make her sneeze. I have a vacuum cleaner that runs on a timer each day, keeping the floors nice and clean without me having to do anything. I just have to empty the HEPA filter once a day in the thing and it keeps the air quality clean by getting all the dust off of the floors. I used to have to vacuum the floors myself all the time and now the robot does the dirty work for me. My main Heating and A/C system also has a HEPA filter to keep the air clean and my pollen irritations are a lot better now that the air conditioning is running all the time. It will be a long hot Summer so I am gearing up for it.
