• I am trying to get 5000 followers for our page just to see what they think about our music and if we are moving in the right direction with it.

I feel that if we have that many followers and put good songs on our page that we will keep building more over time. How do you get followers though and do you really need them? We didn’t have this 40 years ago and maybe heating up your band doesn’t have to happen online. I’m sure you can play music in local businesses, and if you are good, get a following that way. But my HVAC worker friend told me that life is different now compared to way back before air conditioning was invented. It seems like if you are good that the followers will come to you, but you need to be heard before anyone knows if you are good. The cooling products manager at the air conditioning company told me that we need to get in front of the right person and our band will explode. I think we also need to get one or two more bandmates to fill in the sound a bit more, and we are looking for them right now. The air filter sales lady told us to just buy a bunch of followers, but I tried that with my HVAC tech money and it seemed to just be a waste of money. It is all a learning process.
