Oh man, the only absolutely wonderful thing about being this close to the full on weight of Summer is that my associate and I are just that much closer to family trip.

For sure, the next four months from June through September at the most challenging when it comes to dealing with the weather conditions.

There is simply no escaping the fact that my associate and I are headed for heat season as well as it’s never a surprise that it can be just overwhelming, but we’re talking about the sort of heat as well as humidity that will have me dripping with sweat pressing time just going from the central air conditioning to the car. It was always a crushing disappointment when that happened. However, living out in the country has turned out to be almost perfect. There are a few flaws I could point out, like the yard toil is atrocious, and it is insect galore here. But I also get peace and quiet, and enough land to create my own garden, and own horses, a lifelong dream of mine. Really, only one of the other flaws I could feel of, is the fact that it is tough to get certain companies to visit my home, such as Heating & A/C services. I have to contact different cooling system corporations, and independent heating and cooling workers, to see if any are willing to come out to my home. Then finding my house is another ordeal in itself, not that ago, I had a Heating & A/C tech come out to my house for air duct sealing, and he called me and asked where my house was. I had to explain directions to him, because my house is surrounded by trees, and at first glance, it looks almost like a forest, then once I gave him the usual instruction, he was able to find my house with ease, and the air duct sealing was completed.

I like to do this every day before I attend to the chores of the afternoon, and reading on my phone allows me to wake up a bit, and prepare for the afternoon, well, my reading was interrupted when I abruptly heard a knock at the door, however that was easily strange, because I wasn’t expecting supplier, and it was 8:00 am in the day, and all of my family knows I am not a day person. I looked out the peephole, and I didn’t suppose the person, but I noticed some kind of business truck in my driveway! Upon opening the door, a friendly Heating & A/C professional greeted me, and told me he was here for a central air conditioning system repair. I told him that he had the wrong home, as my central Heating & A/C was fine, and I didn’t need a Heating & A/C repair. The cooling worker looked at me confused, and I informed him of a condo down the street that looks almost identical to mine. I saw a lightbulb go off in his head, and the cooling worker thanked me and was on his way. I watched him pull his air conditioning system van out of my driveway, and then proceed down the street in the direction of the right home… Hopefully he found the right condo ok. I would assume he did, because there is only one other condo in the town that looks similar to mine, but I knew that the air conditioning system appointment wasn’t mine, because I stay on top of my Heating & A/C repair.

I appreciate being a dad at this stage of my eldest son’s life.

He’s a absolutely wonderful child as well as I’ve never had to sit up late inside the central air conditioning of the family household worrying about him.

But as she is a rising senior, I absolutely want to start to help him understand a bit more of the responsibilities that come with being an adult, but of course, he’s going to spend at least four years inside a dorm room with radiant heating as well as no air conditioning before she gets her adulting on. I told him about my coworker who was working on the heating system and got locked out of the basement when his client left. Another coworker waited in the basement with a snake around his legs for two hours before his partner returned home. Their company’s first female HVAC technician happened to call a haunted mansion home. Everyone believed she was imagining things when she invited us over to help install her new heating and air conditioning system. She had spent two years renovating the house, and it showed. He laughed, but I wasn’t sure that was the kind of adventure he had in mind. He mentioned that he considered Heating and Air Conditioning, but also considered joining the Navy. I got a grin out of him by telling him he could work in a submarine’s heating and air conditioning system for the Navy. He claimed he could work in both fields concurrently and continue to do so after leaving the Navy.

Grandpa returned to his gardening duties after instructing me in the art of air filter replacement. My grandma told me to come inside after she saw me looking at the air conditioner outside. She offered me some homemade chocolate chip cookies. I laughed when Grandpa told me to go inside and eat or he’d have to eat them. My grandmother inquired if my grandfather had taught me how to replace the air filters. Grandma snorted, and I agreed, adding that he knew a lot. Apparently, he picked up the whole thing from her. She might never have met him if she hadn’t worked at Heating plus A/C. When they first met, he was a scrawny young man who occupied a dilapidated home. His parents’ home needed a new heating system, so he contacted Heating plus A/C. She informed me that she had visited the site in question in order to take measurements and guarantee that the appropriate heating system was installed. Because she was a woman, he would not let her into the house. After she presented her credentials, he initially treated her with respect but later reversed course. She told me that her beautiful smile was the clincher, and that by that time he simply could not bear to be apart from her. I shuffled back to the house and asked my mom if she knew Grandma was a heating and air conditioning technician. She also laughed and said, “I know,” indicating that she was the mother. Her grandmother missed the ceremony because she had to work on the school’s heating and air conditioning system.
