The Quietest Air Conditioners

I woke up this day with black fingernail polish plus wondered what the heck I’m doing.

I want to wash the HEPA filter too before she gets here because I know that she needs enjoyable indoor air quality or she will be sneezing the whole evening. I will also stock up on a bunch of fruits plus veggies so she has something to eat for the short time she will be here. I have a small temperature controlled office that she can sleep in for the evening, while I sleep in my air conditioned dining room on the other side of the flat. It should be nice seeing her as I don’t feel I have seen her for about three years at this point.

I am plugging away with my workday and it should all be done in about an hour and a half at the most.

I could really knock it all out in an hour if I actually focused and worked away, but there is always a distraction that pops up requiring some of my time and attention.

As long as I am done by 3pm today I should be fine, then I will have time to do the other chores around the flat and I should be all set by the time my contractor arrives. I am going to run the air conditioning later because it is going to get pretty sizzling this afternoon, which is expected as it is the middle of May now and the temps are getting up there into the temperature control zone. It won’t get actually boiling until the end of July though so we won’t have to run the device all of the time until that time comes. July and September require non stop air con in the flat and it won’t let up till the middle of September when the cool weather comes rushing in pushing the warmer weather out for the winter. I am going to meet some of my family in July in another country and escape the heat here for a little while. It will be nice seeing my HVAC rep sibling and her kids in eight more weeks and I think the country we are meeting in will be cooler so we won’t need any air conditioning while we are there for the two weeks.

It is so nice to feel great and not be sick after a week of torture.

The sore throat was really the worst part of the whole ordeal, but now it is in my rearview mirror and I am feeling so much better.

I need to get back to my exercise routine again and today I am going to do a light leg workout and maybe go for a short run on the beach. I don’t know if I can do my normal 30 minute run because my body is pretty weak although I will deliver it a shot. Climate control is starting to become the norm as the weather warms up and Summer approaches. It is the middle of May now and in a month it will be actually boiling I bet, so we will be running the air soon to stay cool in this flat for the whole season. I will clean the a/c filter later today and maybe even test out the temperature control system to make sure it is a go for the coming boiling months. I think in two months I am going to take a short trip and meet my family in a nearby country, and I may even see my acquaintance from this neighborhood if she happens to be there when I go. She is an HVAC rep and I met her two weeks before she moved away to another country to go labor for this local contractor doing heating and cooling repairs and sales. It should be a fun trip and nice seeing my family finally.
